Kingsley is a secular Buddhist, very environment conscious, a vegetarian and teetotaller. Kingsley has been very active in the community and was heavily involved in the Tsunami reconstruction work.

Kingsley owns and operates Cabanas/Cottages on about 4 acres of Mangroves on the Hikkaduwa Lagoon. In addition he also owns a hardware store.
